Driver Roger Egan is a hardworking driver based in Minnesota, a husband to Ashnee and father to Ryker. Roger is a graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology with a A.A.S Engineering Design and Drafting and a current student at CSU working towards a Major in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics and Minor in Computer Science.
Born in Lakenheath, England, Roger moved back and forth to the states in his early childhood due to his father being in the military. Finally settling down in the states in his elementary years, Roger became enamored with cars and racing .
Call him a late bloomer, but Roger did not decide to seek out a racing career until after college at the age of 22, when he signed up for the Skip Barber Racing School to try out open wheel cars. After the first day, he was hooked and knew racing professionally, was something he wanted to seek out. After 5 days Roger was awarded his Skip Barber competitors license.
Following his stint at Skip Barber, Roger decided to pursue fender cars and signed up for a week long training course with Panoz. Roger then started working with Randy Koch who ran Stateline Speedway and Competitive Edge Racing School to hone his skills in stock cars and it has paid off with some excellent finishes along with multiple championships.
Working three jobs to pursue his racing career has given Roger even more determination to reach his goal to race full time in one of NASCAR’s top three divisions. Roger also has goals of competing in the 24 hours of Le Mans and Daytona.
